Who is Spilt Milk?
We are a women-owned, cottage bakery specializing in gluten free baked goods. We focus on fresh, local and ethically sourced ingredients to bring you the best products possible!
Where are you located?
We are located in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood.
What is a cottage bakery?
We are a licensed bakery, working and operating out of a residential studio kitchen.
-
Are you gluten free?
Yes! 100% of our products are gluten free.
What if I have Celiac’s disease?
We do not use gluten in any of our products and make them in a gluten free home kitchen. However, some of our ingredients come from facilities that could also process gluten. We encourage people with severe allergies to consult with a medical professional before consuming our products.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Although we do our best to avoid cross contamination, there could still be small traces of allergens.
As a small bakery, we process everything on the same equipment and our baked goods are made with milk, eggs, soy, peanuts and tree nuts.
Are you vegan?
No, we are not vegan, but provide a variety of dairy free cupcakes. See our order page for more details.
-
Where do you source your ingredients?
We use Bob’s Red Mill certified gluten free flours, grains and oats, which make up the base of our baked goods.
We source our chocolate and cocoa from Guittard and Anthony’s Goods, which are certified gluten free, fair trade and organic companies.
Our dairy products - both lactose free and dairy-full - are always fresh and of the highest quality. We source from Organic Valley, Green Valley Lactose Free and Kerrigold USA.
We purchase fresh and local produce from the Pacific Northwest, and do our best to use what is in season.
